Step 2 of 5 · Gate one

The baseline, measured before anything changed

Gate — this is checked before any mark is given A submission claiming an effect without a dated before-figure taken before the change comes back unmarked, not marked low. Once the change is made the baseline cannot be recovered.

Step 3 of 5 · The change

The one thing you changed

One thing only. If two things changed — a swap and a new shop, or a swap and a new routine — the after-figure cannot be attributed to either. Say so honestly here if it happened; naming it scores better than hiding it.

What went wrong, with dates

A submission recording no failures scores zero for process, whatever the after-figure shows. Three weeks of measuring always slips somewhere. Give the date, what broke, and what it cost the comparison.

Ten logged relationships

Gate — checked before any mark is given One expert interviewed · three people the problem affects · three peers who reviewed the work · three people it was shared with who replied. Names, dates, and what each said. A relationship nobody can check is not a relationship.

The measurements and the log are the learner's own work. Help received is named in the artefact.

We record what is on this form and the links you have given, so a certificate can be issued and verified. Nothing is published with a learner's full name. You may ask for the record to be deleted at any time by writing to support@earlyagedevelopment.com.

Your reference is — keep it. A confirmation email is on its way to the result address.

Both gates are checked first. If either fails, the submission comes back unmarked with a note saying which one and why — that is not a low mark, it is a return, and it can be resubmitted once fixed.

Marked submissions return within two weeks with written feedback on every section, and a certificate carrying the number you moved. Check progress any time at the status page.
